Tidings of Tyrus the Sorcerer

A chapter of a ‘choose your own’ story — drabble edition!

This is a continuation of You Are Alive, a Choose Your Own Adventure Story — drabble edition started by Bradan Writes Stories. Find out how to contribute here, or return to the previous chapter by Michael Gough.

You grab a handful of mud, ready for combat, and leap out. You see a wolf-man. “Monster!” you cry.

He holds up his hands. “Don’t shoot!”

“But… you’re a werewolf.”

“No, pal! Name’s Snark. I’m a party animal… only howled ‘cosatha cold!“

“Right…” You look around, and see Snark has left a trail of sparkly mushroom decorations outside your tent. “What the…?”

“A trail, leading to the party! Come!”

Snow begins to fall as Snark leads you to a forest gathering. A cheerful gnome approaches. “Tyrus the hero-sorcerer died!”

Snark whoops. “Let’s rob his tower.” He looks at you. “Coming?”
