“I’m one of a kind,” declares Snark grandly. “History must be recorded.”
Your vision blurs. A documentary crew appear, the director with an NYT rolled in her pocket, a story about Stonehenge visible. Snark howls; wolf-cubs scamper into the clearing, playing catch with a huge apple.
The director angrily bosses the cubs around. Then, the gnomes begin arguing over the apple. One grabs it; the rest run into the forest in pursuit.
“This film is pointless!” laughs the director. She explodes into purple smoke.
“That was close,” grins Snark, transforming. “I’m Tyrus the sorcerer. Reports of my death were premature…”
