Since humor is a great way to learn about health, today, I’m about to take you on another journey back to those years when I was a young, ambitious Toastmaster with a dream.

In those youthful, ambitious years, my utmost desire was to win the international humor speech competition using my research into healthy lifestyles. As I had been researching immune system issues for years, I thought it would be an excellent topic for a funny speech. I spent weeks writing and rewriting my 10-minute speech. I wanted it to be informative, funny, relatable, memorable, and useful. I wanted to make my audience laugh, but I also wanted to teach them something valuable about their own bodies: the immune system.
