SPRING REPORT WEEK 11

The time of hanging flowers

I’m surprised at how Nature unveils, so fast and always gifting us new artwork to enjoy.

Since I started sharing photographs and photostories here, I see Nature in a different, I would say sharper, way. I’m surprised at how it unveils, always gifting us something new to appreciate.

This week it’s the time of flowers hanging from trees, and a few standing up straight too!

Covering branches in pink

Like a moss covers branches, this tree’s flowers seem to roll around covering it in pink:

And here flowers of a pale pink and a very delicate fragrance, hanging from their tree on a rainy day:

By the way, are these the same but just in a darker color?

Of course I could not miss glycines in a story about hanging flowers... They are at full bloom right now!

Chestnut flowers, standing straight up

Like a recursive forest-in-a-tree, the flowers of chestnut trees stand upright:

Same here, but with a more vivid color:

That’s much more common in smaller plants, like this weed that grew into a small forest of itself:

Darker greens

You’ve probably noticed how the leaves of trees are already of a darker green tone compared to just one week ago:

It is surprising how fast things change. Here new cells maturing and synthesizing more chlorophyll.

Like the flowers of trees?
