2022 Timeline

January

  • Transferred Coinbase funds over to the Binance network, using Token Pocket bridge. (I may take another look at using this in the future.)
  • Continued using & investing into CakeDefi, & Gemini, from last year
  • Invested into playing WonderHero, my first crypto game.

February

  • Continued to grow CakeDefi investment
  • Invested $11 into Age of Tanks, another Crypto game. Lost $11 investment.
  • Continued to do learning modules & invest into Coinbase. Increased Coinbase balance.
  • Made ROI in WonderHero, but reinvested all of the money back into the game, which put me back into the red. I was never able to make back my second investment. OUCH!
  • Started keeping up with Metamask wallet balances.

March

  • Invested even more money into CakeDefi.
  • Earnings started going down fast in WonderHero.
  • Started to consolidate tokens in Coinbase & start moving them to Metamask.
  • Played free crypto games in Rollercoin for a bit. Didn’t make enough money to withdraw. Only played during this month.
  • Started playing Tiny Hero, my second crypto game.
  • Started developing weekly plans for each crypto project that I was invested.

April

  • Earnings in Wonderhero dropped significantly. Only did 1 withdraw this month.
  • Invested more money into CakeDefi.
  • Only kept a few tokens in Coinbase.
  • Earnings in Tiny Hero started to fluctuate.
  • Invested in Baked beans miner. Started looking at investing in other Dapp miners. Baked Beans earnings started going down as well.
  • Got Rugged $15 by Parrot Miner.

May

  • Earnings in Wonderhero were very little this month
  • Continued to invest in CakeDefi
  • Stopped holding tokens in Coinbase
  • Made ROI in TinyHero.
  • Started investing in the following miners: Roast beef, BNB miner, Solar Farm, BUSD Farmer, Baked cats, Baked BTC Miner, & Chicken land miner.
  • Earnings on Baked Beans Miner dropped off a lot.

June

  • No withdraws from Wonderhero this month.
  • DFI, DUSD, & BTC prices began to fall, which reduced growth in CakeDefi
  • Did not invest anything into TinyHero. Only played the game. NFT prices were dropping fast.
  • Invested into Roast Beef v2, which rugged after a few days (80% ROI). Stopped being active in Roast Beef v1 miner (176% ROI).
  • Stopped compounding Baked Beans miner. Only withdrew once per week. Earns dropped like a rock!
  • Invested more into BNB Miner & grew personal TVL.
  • Invested more into Solar Farm v1. Started investing into Solar farm v2.
  • Baked Cats rugged. I was only at 6% ROI!!!
  • Withdraws on BUSD Farmer started going down.
  • Withdraws on Baked BTC miner started going down as well.
  • Only withdrew from Baked Beans once per week. Earnings still continued to go down.
  • Earnings in Chicken land started going down.

July

  • No withdraws from Wonderhero this month.
  • DFI, DUSD, & BTC prices continued to fall, which reduced growth in CakeDefi
  • No withdraws from TinyHero this month.
  • Only did 1 withdraw from Bake Beans this month. Not enough earnings to continue compounding. Stopped being active in Baked Beans.
  • Started new strategy with BNB Miner.
  • Wrote my first article on Medium. You can read it here.
  • Continued earning from Solar farm v1. Invested more into Solar Farm v2.
  • Earnings with BUSD Farmer continued to go down.
  • Earnings on Baked BTC continued to drop like a rock.
  • Chicken land contract was drained. Miner got rugged. I was at 35.48% ROI. Ouch!!!

August

  • Started reinvesting back into TinyHero.
  • Converted all BTC in CakeDefi to DFI & staked DFI (363 tokens) to earn interest.
  • Withdraws on BNB Miner started going down.
  • Continued writing on Medium. Started writting weekly KYC reports, weekly plan updates, & Metamask wallet updates. Discovered that Medium can read the articles to you.
  • Reinvested more into Solar Farm v1 & v2.
  • Not earning enough on BUSD Farmer to continue being active. Stopped being active in this miner. The same thing happened to Baked BTC Miner.
  • No withdraws from Wonderhero.
  • Started investing with Grizzly.Fi platform.
  • Started using Pancake swap bridge, to bring funding from fiat money to cryptocurrency.

September

  • Several strategy changes with Solar farm, Grizzly.Fi, & TinyHero.
  • Deposited $100 BTC into the earn section on CakeDefi @ 9.65% APY.
  • Only withdrew from BNB Miner, until the end of the month, then reinvested back into this miner.
  • Tweaked my Saturday crypto pay dates.
  • Stopped being active in Solar farm. It wasn’t worth the gas fees.
  • Joined Medium partnership program & started earning money for people reading my articles. You can join as well, by going here. Earned $1.58 in just a few days!
  • Started metering my past articles on Medium, so that they would earn as well.
  • Became very active in Grizzly.Fi.

October

  • Started tracking & writing about withdraws on all my projects. You can read about my first weekly withdraw here.
  • Started investing in the DRIP network.
  • Posted all of my Wonderhero nfts for sale in that games market place. Sold 6 of them.
  • Wasn’t active in CakeDefi this month. Earnings were too low. Didn’t withdraw because of permanent loss.
  • Did major upgrades in TinyHero, in order to increase earnings.
  • Joined Farm of Fortune. This is currently my favorite miner & is earning me the most money at the moment.
  • Bought a Pig & staked it in the Pig Pen on Animal Farm.
  • Had my first viral article on Medium, which earned $109.85 in October. You can read it here.
  • Achieved Top Medium Writer for the topic of investing. Yay!!!
  • Continued to grow my investment in BNB Miner. Also gained a referral for that miner.
  • Earned $3 from Coinbase learning module.
  • Started investing in Adstaker.
  • Had $148 in withdraws during October.

November

  • Started reoccurring $10 buy of ALGO tokens in Coinbase.
  • Earned another $111.49 from my viral article, written in October, on Medium.
  • Did more upgrades in Tiny hero, in an attempt to increase earnings.
  • Continued to withdraw earnings from Farm of Fortune. Got to 90% ROI!
  • Started reinvesting half of my withdraws from BNB miner & grew TVL a lot!
  • Did “test” deposit on Solar Farm v1.
  • Wrote referral article on Medium & pinned to top of Medium page.
  • Invested more into Adstaker during their Black Friday event.
  • Made it to 400 castles in TinyHero!
  • Started doing monthly withdraws in Grizzly.Fi & Pig Pen.
  • Started doing weekly withdraws from DRIP faucet.
  • Had $343.77 in withdraws during November.

December

  • Earning from Medium viral article went way down.
  • Joined Cryptozoa & Cryptozoa Unleashed medium publishers. Medium earnings started going up again.
  • No sales or withdraws form WonderHero.
  • Tried out Tiny Lord battle in Tiny hero. Not enough earnings to continue. Sold some NFTs & cut back a lot in Tiny Hero game. Developed an exit strategy for this game.
  • Made ROI & started reinvesting in Farm of Fortune. Also bought 2 of their NFTs, which should start earning my dividends in January.
  • Continued to grow TVL in BNB, by reinvesting half of withdraws.
  • Reinvested more into BNB miner, Adstaker, DRIP, & Farm of Fortune, which increased earnings.
  • Developed new strategy on how to work DRIP & the Pig Pen together, building off of each other.
  • Reassessed position in CakeDefi.
  • Grew Adstaker TVL & gained a referral.
  • “test” deposit in Solar farm v1 didn’t work well. v2 wasn’t any better. Stopped being active in Solar Farm all together.
  • Had $434.3853 in withdraws during December.

Wow! That was a full year!

Things that I learned (in no particular order):

  1. Only invest what you are willing to lose.
  2. Make plans but understand that plans WILL change.
  3. Always be on the lookout for new better opportunities.
  4. Have an exit strategy, if needed.
  5. ROI ASAP, then play with the house’s money. Use 100/50 rule.
  6. Some projects will Rug. Be prepared for it.
  7. Keep a record of your projects, for later learning.

There’s probably more that I’ve learned & even more that I need to learn. But it’s 1:35 am on 1/1/23, & I’m tired. Time for ssslllleeeeepppppp…….
