I bought a PIG!
I decided to buy a Pig! Yes a pig!
It was expensive but it may be a good investment so I did it…

Animal Farm is scheduled to launch on 10/18/22 & there is already a lot of buzzing going on about it. Just do a Google search for animal farm crypto & see what pops up.
I decided to look into the project & see if it might be a good investment.
The price of AFP (Animal Farm Pig) was at 132 BUSD. By the time I got finished looking at it the price had gone up to 133 BUSD. One of the people teaching about how the farm works stated that the price was way down but has jumped up in price because of anticipation of the launch.
I decided to look into it myself…on Pancakeswap.
Looking at the prices above, it looks like the price of the token is a bit up for the day, down for the week, up for the month, & down some for the year. The year price is very understandable, considering the market we are in. The month price tells me that people have started buying this token a lot within the last 30 days. (Anticipation in the market?) The weekly price being down tells me that it may be a good time this week to but this token. I wasn’t to concerned about the day price being up. Timing is Timing…
To me, 133 BUSD is a large investment...
It just so happens that I just finished reading an article, by Matt While, about why you shouldn’t invest in small amounts. You can read it here as well.
(Side note on my small investments…)
Usually, I “test” a project with a small deposit of around $20-$50. I know that won’t make very much difference in my life financially. That small amount is mainly for testing purposes & fits into my risk/reward mindset.
After making ROI on that test amount, then I would start investing larger amounts into the project & grow my earnings, hopefully. Some projects have panned out & some have rugged, etc. If I made that large deposit up front & the project rugged then I would be out all of that investment. (Fear Factor…)
Fear is the mind killer.
After reading his article, I thought about my investment strategy & decided to start to change. (This could be step in the right direction.)
I am currently investing in crypto on the side/ part time. I have a full time job, family, & lots of other responsibilities. In order for me to leave my job & retire on crypto, I would need to replace my job income with the crypto income. That won’t happen on $20 investments…Thus, I decided to risk a little more & buy me a PIG.
I will probably start increasing my investments into my other projects as well…thanks Matt! (Go checkout his articles!)
OK back to the Pig
It looks like the price of AFP will jump up when Animal Farm launches on 10/18/22. Just like it did back earlier this year.
Therefore, buying now could be a good investment.
So what does the pig do?
I have some choices with my pig. I can stake it in the Pig Pen or the Piggy Bank.
In the Pig Pen it will earn me more pigs & some BUSD. Earnings will be at based on taxes paid on all Animal farm transactions.
In the Piggy bank the AFP will be combined with BUSD into the AFP/BUSD LP. The deposits will be locked for a specific length of time but earn at a higher rate.
I think I’ll stake my pig into the Pig Pen to start with & may look into investing into the Piggy Bank afterwards. We will see what happens after launch.
Now, I’m looking forward to the launch & may also increase my Drip investment as well.
