Sparks №2-Writing Prompts & Challenges
Weekly writing inspiration newsletter from Flint & Steel

“Get it down. Take chances. It may be bad, but it’s the only way you can do anything really good.” — William Faulkner
Do you need inspiration? You will find sparks all around the Medium platform. I’ve collected a handful for you to check out and, as always, follow the guidelines outlined by each publication. Some have firm deadlines and some do not. Watch for word counts and tag requests.
Tip: Add this article to your Medium list (found at the beginning of the article) to keep on hand when you need inspiration.
Attention Medium publication editors
Have a writing prompt, challenge, or a call for submission you want included in an upcoming Sparks Newsletter? Feel free to leave a comment in the Latest Newsletter (link found on main page at Fleet & Steel) or email me at [email protected]. Newsletters go out early Tuesday morning.
Please include a link to the article that summarizes the prompt/challenge/call for submission and if there is a deadline. I will link to the article and to your publication in the newsletter. I also tweet the newsletter throughout the week for added exposure.
