September is about to start. I know we all are very excited at the beginning of the month. We set some goals for the month to be done on Medium.

I am very excited about this new adventure Lifeline. This time, I want to do something unique and adventurous for all my poetic friends out there on Medium.

Firstly, I am grateful to all of you for all your kind support and gesture towards me and my publication.

You all may wonder what is going to happen, right? So, here I am with the completely new poetic contest.

Welcome to Lifeline September Poetic Contest

Dear poets,

I am feeling pleasure to invite you all to this monthly poetic contest. This is going to be a fun contest.

I am going to give you an exciting prompt about yourself, you just have to explore yourself and write down about it.

You have a whole month to submit your entry to this contest. You are free to submit as many entries as you want because I myself & all other poets would love to read your creations.

Now, you all have a question in your mind what will you get as a reward if you win this contest?

Rewards for participating in Lifeline Poetry Contest

On 1st October I will announce the winner of the poetry contest.

Now, what will the winner get?

Medium is already paying you through the Medium partnership program. So, I am not going to pay you because you are on this platform to learn and to grow, maybe in the future!

• Therefore, the winner’s poem will be on our feature page for the entire month.
• I will personally put the link of the winner’s work in each submission of Lifeline publication because the winner should gain traction as much as possible.
• I will make sure that your poetic entry will receive much more love on Medium.
• Now, here comes something exciting, you will have a chance to organize a Poetry Prompt for Lifeline publication.
• You are free to publish your prompt because I think like a winner you have the ability to publish prompts for all the fellow poets out there.

Poetry contest

In this poetry contest, you have to write about the following prompt.

Write a poem about defining your character, personality, values, beliefs, and who you are as a person.

I believe as a writer, you should have the ability to describe yourself uniquely. Therefore, I started this first contest with you guys’ introduction. Be creative while writing about yourself and find creativity in yourself.

Writing about yourself is a great way to be creative and engage in self-discovery.

I believe as a writer, you first have to write more about yourself before you start crafting different characters.

I want you to define yourself as a character. See yourself as a unique character and write about it.

I just want to say, be creative because competition is going to be tough.
