MuddyUm’s funniest for September and one bonus from elsewhere
Before we get into popular pandemic posts (PPP), here is an important factoid about September:
September is the only month with the same number of letters in its number and name; September is the ninth month and has nine letters in its name.
Isn’t that amazing? Aren’t you just blown away by this information? No? Gosh, you folks are so hard to please. Wait! Here’s another one.
There are more pop and classic songs with “September” in the title than any other month.
How about that, eh? Impressive? Think highly of September now?
Personally, I have two problems with September.
- For the sake of consistency, September should have come after October. October breaks the pattern. Instead, if we had October, September, November, December, then all 3 ‘embers’ would be neatly lined up. Right? Right? I see you nodding in agreement.
- September has a rather unnecessary ‘t’ in it. Instead, if it was just Sepember, the last 3 months of the year would have been gloriously symmetrical. Sepember, November, December.
Do you think we can raise a petition to make these two tiny changes?
