Life is a Mystery for the Little Mermaid

The chain of poems

She ponders on a stone looking grey and petrified, endearing and vulnerable as she sits in her statue. Gazing into the horizon.

Her eyes steadfastly focused she is mesmerized by the rippling water … too weird to live, too rare to die … what lies beneath … maybe a new beginning over there…?

Who knows, she might become one again, the little mermaid. Everything is a mystery to her now and then, and perhaps even later.
