Self-Forgiveness
How flowers teach me
I became the song of a hollyhock in the eyes of a daydream perched on the quiver of my vulnerability.
I became a mélange of melodic layers lightly affixed at the apex of a fluted edge. My soul covets silence and rest.
I became earth’s symphony drenched in the sound of sacredness a pause from this odyssey of evolution.
I became a sundial of shadows liberated by a sturdy chrysalis within and honored the moonset with self-forgiveness.
