But right now, I’m gonna dive into the latest season of everyone’s favorite battle royale game and spill the beans on all the cool new stuff they’ve added. So, buckle up!
Get ready, Fortnite fanatics, because it’s that exciting time again — a fresh season of Fortnite is here! In the latest installment, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, titled “Last Resort,” get ready for a blast of new content.
An array of brand-new weapons, the triumphant return of fan favorites, a dazzling selection of eight never-before-seen battle pass skins, the introduction of three intriguing new locations, and a whole lot more action-packed surprises waiting for you.
Let’s talk about the battle pass for a second. This season, brace yourselves for an epic crossover event featuring none other than Rosario Dawson’s iconic Ahsoka Tano from the Star Wars universe. She’s dropping in later this season as the midseason bonus skin, and believe us, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
You’ve got a whopping seven more skins to unlock as you blaze through the first 100 levels of the battle pass. There’s another crossover in town — TikTok sensation Khaby Lame joins the fray as a legendary Icon Series skin, marking the second time a collab like this has hit the battle pass.

These shiny new locations are all tied to the brooding Kado Thorne, the vampire villain, and you just know they’ll be part of the spine-tingling Halloween event in October.
Now, brace yourselves, because these spots — Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and Eclipsed Estate — are no walk in the park. They’re heavily guarded with laser grids, watchful cameras, and guards who mean business.
Here’s the real game-changer this time — Survivor Medals. It’s a shiny new mechanic that’s shaking things up. Wrap your head around this: You’ll tackle Survivor Quests in battle royale or Zero Build. These quests will test your mettle as you strive to outlast rivals while taking down a specific number of opponents. No more camping — this is all about action!
But that’s not all. There are seven tiers of medals to conquer throughout the season, each mirroring the loot’s tier system: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Exotic, and Mythic. Each tier is stacked with 10 sub-levels you need to conquer before ascending to the next.
As you climb those tiers, you’ll snag some rad permanent cosmetic rewards. Kicking things off is the slick Prized Llama back bling, and as you level up each tier, there’s even more awesomeness in store.
