Travis Scott Could Return to Fortnite, According to the Epic Games CEO

But today, I wanna chat about Travis Scott and all the recent buzz about him coming back to Fortnite.
Who is Travis Scott?
Lme introduce you to the one and only, Travis Scott! He’s a super talented and uber-famous American rapper, singer, and songwriter who’s been making waves in the music industry since way back.
Born Jacques Webster II on April 30, 1991, in Houston, Texas, he adopted the stage name Travis Scott to add some spice to his persona.
Travis’ journey to stardom began in the early 2010s when he dropped a couple of mixtapes, catching the attention of hip-hop enthusiasts and critics alike.
His unique style, blending elements of rap, trap, and psychedelic sounds, set him apart from the rest of the pack. But it was in 2015 that he truly burst onto the mainstream scene with his debut studio album, “Rodeo.”
“Rodeo” was a massive hit, and it paved the way for Travis Scott’s meteoric rise to fame. The album featured bangers like “Antidote” and “3500,” which quickly became fan favorites.
His next projects, “Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight” and “Astroworld,” further solidified his position as a force to be reckoned with in the rap game.
What makes Travis stand out is not just his music, but his incredible stage presence and live performances. He’s known for his high-octane concerts, where he brings an insane level of energy and mind-blowing visual effects.
The “Astroworld Festival,” named after his album, became one of the most sought-after events in the music world, drawing thousands of fans from all corners of the globe.
Apart from music, Travis Scott is also a savvy entrepreneur and collaborator. He’s partnered with big brands like Nike and McDonald’s, creating exclusive sneaker collections and even having his own limited-edition meal at McDonald’s.

It’s no wonder that Travis Scott has become a cultural icon, with legions of devoted fans known as “Cactus Jacks” (a nod to his nickname “Cactus Jack” and his record label, Cactus Jack Records).

Travis Scott back in Fortnite?
So, guess what? Travis Scott might be making a comeback to Fortnite, according to Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney. Do you know how Fortnite’s always adding new celebs and pop culture stuff? Well, they had Travis as skin too, but they removed it after some controversy.
Back in the day, it totally made sense to have Travis Scott in Fortnite ’cause he was a big-shot musician with deals everywhere, like McDonald’s and Reese’s Puffs.
But then came the Astroworld Festival tragedy in 2021, and things went south. Epic Games decided to kick Travis outta the item shop, and it seemed like he might never return.
But hold up! Tim Sweeney just spilled the beans on Twitter. A fan asked about Travis coming back, and Tim said, “Travis Scott is welcome in Fortnite” But he also said he’s not the one callin’ the shots on which brands or celebs join the game and when.
You know, Travis dropped his latest album, Utopia, on July 28. Last time, when Astroworld came out, he had that epic in-game concert that went viral. So now, peeps are wondering if there’ll be another virtual concert for Utopia.
Final Words
After the Astroworld Festival incident, Travis faced a lotta backlash, with people blaming him for what happened.
It took a while, but a Texas grand jury cleared him of any wrongdoing in June 2023.
So, it looks like there’s a chance we’ll see Travis Scott back in Fortnite. Fingers crossed for some sick virtual concerts!
