THE DAILY CUPPA WALKABOUT COLLECTION #2
Herbs and Plants for Tea And Cooking
No one diet fits all so we’re featuring stories about plants used for healthy teas and recipes from diverse cultures and styles.
“Herbs and plants and recipes — oh my!” Here’s to your appetite for all things healthy and good from our homes to yours.
As we travel together from home to home, we’ll share stories about herbs, plants, recipes, and more that build our health and strengthen our human community.
Each day we’re sharing a story from different writers about herbs, gardening, recipes, cooking basics, vegetables, and healthy oils. Our eclectic mix of stories celebrates the diversity of plants and how they’re used around the world.
It’s our belief that learning about plants and how they provide not only flavor but nutrients to our food is an important way we can support each other and our earth.
We rejoice in a rich diversity of gardening, food preparation, and health-giving practices.
My bias is that no one diet style is suitable for all. My goal is to foster a love of plants and home cooking.

Nutrient-dense whole food from plants — from grapefruit, asparagus, spinach, turmeric, to blueberries — can be a problem if you’re eating processed foods and taking prescription medications. It may take your body a while to get used to any diet changes. Always consult with your physician or a qualified health care provider before making any lifestyle or dietary changes.
