Do This When You Are Not Motivated!

Every morning is meant to be different. How many tricks do we have to get started on our sluggish days?

If only there was consistency in the way we feel every morning. Unless we operate like our vacuum-robots, it is unlikely that we sound positive in the same way day after day. We might have a brilliant sleep and still having issues pulling ourselves out of bed.

In short, we do not always feel pumped in the morning. Motivation does not come to us naturally. I am speaking from personal experience.

I often wonder why. There are days when I woke up pumped after sleeping for 4 hours. There are those days where 9 hours is not enough to open my severely gummed eyelids.

We have to have tricks to start our day. We have to have methods that jumpstart our neurological gears. These are my go-to’s.

Go-To # 1 — I Walk Around, Fast.

I do my morning walks without fail. The morning air keeps me fresh. The green from the trees and grasses revitalizes my eyes.

When I am feeling sluggish, I walk faster. I know there are scientific explanations for this, and I choose not to bother the readers with the details of it. It has to do with breathing harder, sucking in more oxygen as we speed up, and in the process, open our lungs, work our hearts, clear our minds.

That last part is the key. It clears my mind. A fast walk is like the Summer Sun piercing through the dense, cold fog covering the valley. With the heat coming into the environment, it lifts the cold air and clears the view around us.

A fast walk clears my mental fog.

Go-To # 2 — I listen To Hyper-Positive Crazy People on YouTube.

Grant Cardone, Dan Pena, Gary Vee, Donald Trump (Pre-President days).

They have a strong online presence. They espouse one thing. Working hard. Not just that. They believe we should all be working extraordinarily hard.

I love their messages. I embrace their values. Their values align with mine. Why settle with mediocrity when the World is our oyster?

When I am low on energy, I listen to their YouTube videos. I may learn something new. Or I might get pumped up for the day. Both ways, I win.

Closing Comment — Motivation Is A Result Of Our Actions.

A note before closing.

There are things I avoid when I am not feeling motivated. That includes before I get motivated. For one, I avoid conversations. That is because I do not want unforeseen negative vibes to affect how I am feeling when I am working with my mind.

I am okay with others wanting to feel that way for the entire day. I am not okay with it for myself because I aim to be productive daily.

Next, I have to avoid social media. There will always be people throttling what we post. There are also days where I could perceive a neutral comment written with malicious intent. Both ways, it is better for me to stay away. At least until I have the positive energy to deal with it.

Beyond that, moving fast and listening to the greats talking about the life that we should be living snaps me out of my pathetic state rather quickly.

Try these 2 methods when we are low on energy.

We might bounce back faster than we think.

Jump Start Our Day.
