The mental tape of these positive experiences is replayed to sustain them through challenging times. How To Stand On Top Of The World.

Answer: Mastering our emotions.

Do you remember the time when we are feeling invincible? How about the time when we feel unstoppable? Those days where we feel that nothing is too big for us to overcome?

The most important thing isn’t the event. It is the feeling. Do you remember how you felt?

That is the key to this story. How we feel affects how we carry ourselves, the way we respond, and how strong we are mentally at that point.

All it takes is one super successful event, followed by anchoring it into our minds, and we are well on our way to the mountain top.

Olympians do this all the time. Those who have been to the top understand this. They take time to absorb the game that they played, coming back from a losing match to eventually winning the match.

The self-talk that they do just before the big dance is an exercise on anchoring the intense emotions, converting anxiety to excitement. It is an injection of positivity into their minds.

They also anchor in the positive energy given by the spectators. Especially all the loud cheers during the low points and the screams at the apex.

They play that mental tape over and over. Why they do that? They are locking in the positive vibes which will carry them through the monotony of tough training at the international level.

They are hungry to taste success again.

Once their self-produced powerful emotions are locked in, they carry with them a sense of confidence that no one can take away. An Olympian Badminton Single’s Gold medallist do not fret when they lose a game of tennis.

They are calm, collected, and will laugh at themselves because they know it is okay to lose now and at this game.

The moment we carry this aura backed by self-confidence shored up by stratospheric successes in the past, we will be invincible.

That’s because we feel invincible.

Feel The Strength,

Aldric
