China Coronavirus Crisis

Having failed to control the Coronavirus outbreak WHO, and the Chinese government, have resorted to censorship.

Oh not WHO, you say, they would never do such a thingthen how do you explain this? Either WHO really is as silly as it looks, or they don’t read the papers.

Quick send for Snopes (the oh so reliable fact checkers) and get them to fact check the figures coming out of China. Snopes would be the obvious people to do this job, being the oracle of Dimension B.

But being a puckish fellow, I smell a rat. You don’t need to be a tin-foil-hatted full-blown conspiracy theorist to know that the figures being waved around by Dimension B types (to counter the misinformation) is complete twaddle. But… but… but… you say, in an outbreak of flu you would expect to see high mortality rates among the elderly, those with compromised immune systemsthose figures look perfectly normally…. (if a week old)….

Well yes… and that is the problem.

And perhaps the reason why the Chinese have changed the way they calculate the figures again… (for the third, or fourth time, in ten days).

Oh yeah… and when WHO say they have people on the ground monitoring the situationthey don’t. Instead we have a centrally planned disease… that has all the hallmarks of ‘just being flu’…. if you ignore everything but the official figures and the censored ‘official information’.

Enter stage right Orange Man Bad (boo hiss) to call the purveyors of plucky children, dancing policemen, and droidsfake news. Well China was not having Orange Man Bad label their totally truthful, and totally impartial media as state propaganda. They are the victim here. The oppressed. The down trodden. And not having a Hollywood sellybretty on hand, they responded by expelling three reporters for the Wall Street Journal: claiming they were racist in their reporting.

Thus exposing who is behind the bogative ‘the real virus is racism’ campaign….

Which brings us to the Diamond Princess, the plague ship in Yokohama harbour. Outside of the Chinese mainland, this one ship has the highest number of reported cases of Coronavirus.

Now, there is no shortage of people ready and willing to criticise the way in which those on board were used as lab rats. However, it does rather miss the point. If 621 people out of some 2500 developed the virus, how many (in reality) would contract it, in the not too dissimilar conditions of a tower block?

No… no… of course you are correct… the population onboard a cruise liner is completely different… and it would be unfair to compare the two….

In other news, two people in Iran have contracted and died from Coronavirus. An unspecified number have been transferred from a FEMA camp to hospital in San Antonio. And both South Korea, Hong Kong and Japan have broken the magic number of 50 reported cases (held to be the number required for an epidemic). In South Korea one of the zombies was said to have been in contact with 166 people.

Oh btw… apparently in China 15 people had died of the virus before 31st December

But don’t worry

It’s only flu
