Summary

The undefined website features a collection of personal essays and reflections on life's lessons, centered around the themes of perseverance, growth, and the cyclical nature of experiences, as well as the feelings associated with loss and change.

Abstract

The undefined website presents "Tiny Life Moments," a series of introspective pieces that delve into the universal aspects of life's journey. These stories, contributed by various writers, explore the idea that life is not a linear path but a circular one, where individuals often find themselves revisiting past lessons. The essays touch on themes of resilience, the importance of showing up, and the inevitability of change, as seen in the recurring metaphor of never leaving the ring. The authors reflect on moments of clarity, empathy, and the struggle with chronic pain, as well as experiences of loss in its many forms—from the fear of being in the spotlight to the grief of losing a loved one. The website also serves as a platform for writers to share their insights and encourages readers to contribute their own stories, fostering a community of shared experiences and collective growth.

A Daughter, a Mother, and Why They Never Leave the Ring

A weekly round up of tiny life moments #6

Is life a straight road or a circle? Who knows, but more importantly, who cares? This thought crossed my mind as I read the fourth story from Josh Kiev a new writer on Tiny Life Moments. Are we on a straight line from the past through the present to the future. Or do we learn from the past, experience the present and then go straight back to step one, where we learn again, grow a little, then return again to learn.

It is commonly said that we grow up to become our parents. I protested vehemently against this notion as a child, but now as an adult, I have accepted it to be true -we never leave the ring. We hear it said, what goes around comes around -we never leave the ring. Have you ever felt you’ve been going round in circles? As Josh said, ‘Always show up. Never give up; enjoy the process of what you are doing or find another process.’ The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Each morning it wakes and does the same thing -it never leaves the ring. Like mother, like daughter, they never leave the ring.
