On Shaking, Crying and Cracking up with Laughter
Our tiny life theme for the week

I blame my mother.
She loves to laugh at the silliest jokes, and once she starts, she can’t stop. It’s uncontrollable, laughing uproariously, doubled up with tears in her eyes and finally running for the small room. Yeah, that my mum, and that’s me. I love to laugh, but it quickly spirals out of control and then I have to pee. lol, we always become our parents. On that rather personal note, I introduce our theme for the week. Laughter.
Writing prompt: 27 July — 2 August
What a great theme to write about, I can’t wait. Have you ever had a moment of laughter? It could have been laughing through tears, or laughing at the most awkward moment. Share a funny story, or share what happened when you heard a funny story. Where you on your own? or with family. Was the laugh inappropriate? Did it break the ice? It could relate to something you observed or witnessed. Interpret this how you want. It’s the reflection and lessons that matter.
I hope this prompt brings a wide variety of stories, funny stories, sad stories, encouraging storing, inspiring stories. Stories that challenge and move us. Stories that connect with us and shows us someone else’s perspective of life.
Because Experience is Life’s best Teacher.
Tiny Life Moments accepts stories in the following format.
- The moment — tell us the story in less than 120 words
- The reflection — thinking back on the story, what are your thoughts
- Lessons learned — what lessons did you learn from the moment (bullet points preferred)
