Tiny Life Moments: Submission Guidelines
Everything you need to know about submitting your story to us
This article contains all you need to know about submitting your story to Tiny Life Moments. Before you start, it’s important to know that we accept all stories, because every experience is important.
We will reject your story if it violates Medium’s rules.
We may delay publishing your story if it contains spelling/grammar errors, or does not meet our formatting guidelines. If this happens, we will write a private note explaining what the issue is.
So let’s get started. Your story should follow the format laid out below
Title:
Please give your story an appropriate title of your choosing using titlecase (the first letter of key words are in capitals) You can use this tool to automatically capitalise your titles: https://capitalizemytitle.com/ Highlight your title and ensure it uses the larger “T”

Remember that most people would decide to read your article based on your title. So it should attract people to read your story, but not click-bait.
Sub-title:
Type in your subtitle right under the title, then highlight it and select the small ‘T’

Using the subtitle is compulsory for all submitted stories and should be in the format, ‘A Tiny Life Moment of [insert words to describe your moment]
Photo
Your Photo comes directly below the sub-title and should be in line with Medium guidelines. Use any of the two alignments show to format your photo, and credit all images. For personal images, ‘image by author’ is sufficient.
Your Story
This section looks at how you layout your story. We ask that you lay it out in three parts. This is because we want our format to become part of the brand, and our readers know exactly what to expect. This will increase readership of our stories resulting in more success for our writers.
The moment
Start by telling us what happened. In 120 words or less.
Reflection
Use this section to give us the background, the context, and all the juicy details behind the moment. There is no word limit.
Lessons or takeaways
Use bullet points to list the lessons learnt from the moment.
Submitting your final draft

When you are ready to submit, hit the 3 dots next to your profile image, and select “Add to Publication.” Select Tiny Life Moments.
Then click the Publish button. Do not forget to add your ‘tags’ this is important. You can use add any tags you want. Select from our general suggestions, then add others that are specific to your moment.

And thats it.
