Congratulations

We are celebrating our first milestone today. We reached this major milestone in ten weeks with wonderful support from our editors, writers, and readers. ILLUMINATION is now a large publication.

We started with around 100 selected writers 10 weeks ago with an invitation I sent on 19 March 2020. These special writers worked so hard and performed so well that they attracted 1172 writers and 10,235 readers in such a short time. They helped my vision illuminate Medium audience.

Our writers not only created outstanding stories but also articulated the values of our publication. I compiled some testimonial from our writers in a story. I’d like to thank our editors who support our publication to reach this milestone.

There were some writers from earlier days and strongly supported our writers and readers almost every day. There are many more writers who contributed to the growth of our publication. Mentioning their names will be beyond the scope of this story.

There were also reputable writers in the industry who joined us and boosted our visibility further with their outstanding stories.

There are many new writers who are contributing substantially. We adore them and value each writer as a unique person.

There were also several other publications that supported our visibility with collaboration. The unique partnership with other publications was outstanding. Due to the scope of this story, I plan to mention these additional contributions as part of my upcoming bulletins.

We achieved many outcomes evident from our stats. For example, we are hosting over 8000+ stories. I will also share the achievement stats in my next bulletin.

All good things come with some pain too. We learned to turn pain to pleasure. For example, during this ten-week period, we had a challenge as our publication’s noble values were misinterpreted by a person and caused us to take a break of our services for a day.

This hardship was an important lesson for us. Our editors and I took extra measures and introduced further rigor to ensure all our services meet Medium policies 100%. We made special effort to strengthen our processes and to articulate our values with transparency to all stakeholders.

We are determined that our integrity and trust not to be misunderstood and misinterpreted again. We are immunized, revived, and got stronger with diversity, inclusiveness, positive energy, and collaboration. I shared our sentiments of the situation in this story.
