Your Healing Light
Thank You Notes #48

“You were born a child of light’s wonderful secret — you return to the beauty you have always been.” ― Aberjhani
Today I attended a brunch with some loved ones I had not seen in over two years. It healed my heart in so many ways. The light of their love brought solace to my spirit in untold ways.
Although I do not dwell on it, there is a giant rift in my life, and it leads me to confusion and feelings of despair on occasion. Yet today, it felt as if this reunion brought hope to my world as mutual feelings were shared to shed light upon the situation.
We are all beautiful fractals of light coming into existence to spread our love. Some may not know how at this moment, so we must have patience and love them anyway.

If you have experienced separation from loved ones for any reason, my heart goes out to you. I am steadying my spirit to tell my story so that I may feel the full healing of the world.
At this moment, as always, love is the answer. It calls to us in the opening buds of the cherry trees, inviting us to open our hearts.

At this time of year, the flowers are our teachers. They allow their petals to open and take in the light, bask and dance in it. Let us do the same, and let us receive the healing powers of spring.

We can welcome with open arms the rainstorms life sometimes brings. It means we also receive the nourishment and cleansing of those waters.
The tiny light inside us is sustaining and wonderful, allowing us to become who we are, a miracle unfolding.
This week’s theme is:
Your Healing Light
Please share your stories of healing your heart or spirit through a difficult situation. What do you appreciate about your healing process? Who helped you along the way?
We look forward to your poems, essays, and stories!
March Monthly Challenge in Thank You Notes:
Thank you to Ellie Jacobson for this fantastic challenge prompt!

In March I think about St. Patrick’s Day and the symbolism of luck and blessings.
Let’s explore a moment you are thankful for because you had luck on your side, maybe some unseen guidance playing a hand. Did you rely on a good luck charm or ritual?
Please share your poetry, articles, and stories about this challenge prompt using the tag “Monthly Challenge.”
We will select 3 top picks at the end of the month!
Good luck to all of you! Thank you, Ellie, for this wonderful challenge prompt!
A huge thank you to my wonderful fellow editors, Ellie Jacobson and Lorena of Sharing Randomly! You are amazing and you keep Thank You Notes running every day!
A Loving Note From Trista Signe Ainsworth
I want to thank you all for your love, patience, and friendship. It was a very busy week at work and in my life. We had fun celebrating my husband’s birthday this week, and my days were very full.

I am so grateful to all of you for everything!
This week I admit to feeling a little overwhelmed. I am still finding my bearings in balancing everything, yet I yearn to write and read more.
The lesson I learned this week was to slow down. This coming week I will try some experiments with a writing/reading schedule that fits my life right now. I miss all of you and want to catch up on how you are doing!
I am going to try something called “Reading/Writing Hour.” I will write if I feel called to it, and use the rest of the hour to read your stories and respond to comments as well. I am excited to try this out!
At the same time, I know having patience with myself is the key to opening up the world of time on my side.
I send you all love for a fabulous week!
Trista
