You Have Free Will but Fate Has a Role Too
You can do what you want but every action has a consequence

I. You Have The Free Will to Act
No one is forced into anything that they haven’t already agreed to. Armed with free will, you choose to come to the earth ready to learn important life lessons, work through clearing accumulated karma, and evolve your soul so you can move on to the next level of your life.
You decide before coming here the things you are going to do, the experiences you are going to have, and the lessons you need to learn. You decide who your parents will be, the relationships you’ll have, and all that you’ll learn.
Free will allows you to decide all these things before reincarnation. As you live life, you still have free will that allows you to make decisions without pressure or force from the outside.
However, it is exactly this same free will that gives us the freedom to choose that which sometimes keeps us from fulfilling our soul’s purpose and doing the work we came here to do.
Your soul makes plans before coming here, but when you arrive, you may make a different plan because you still have free will that leads you down the wrong path and changes the script of your life, extending the learning process.
It is also this same free will that makes certain people feel they don’t need to adhere to the laws and commandments because their free will trumps the rules. They think being made to adhere to strict rules when they don’t want to impose on their free will. They call it a transgression against universal laws. But even free will has a limit when fate arrives.
Fate has a huge role to play in all of this, and the consequence of our actions is to come much later.
II. Fate Acts Where It Must
Humans have free will, but what about the child who doesn’t know wrong from right? Must they use their free will to have candy for breakfast?
Imagine a child crawling towards a cliff. If the child keeps crawling down that path, he will fall. That is clear to you long before it is clear to the child. You have foresight while the child does not. When you pick the child up before he falls, that is fate, but that does not mean you’ve taken the child’s free will.
Fate is known to be that which is already written. It is based on the belief that there is a natural order of the universe that cannot be changed, no matter what we do.
Sure, there is a script written for your life, but the acting is all you. You decide the scenes, the characters, the props, the directing, and all of it. You get to decide which scene comes first and where it happens. But the ending can’t be changed because it is already written but the in-between is up to you.
As adults, fate is what happens when we don’t do the things we agreed to do. Fate happens when you ignore the calling. It must step in if after so long, you still can’t find your purpose.
When you refuse to co-create with the universe and you leave your life up to fate, you allow other people and external circumstances to dictate your life.
You came here to learn and evolve. When you get here and you get too comfortable plugged into the matrix, fate must step in and you may not always like it. This is why awakenings happen to get people to wake up and see the reality they’ve been refusing to see. Sometimes, by the time you wake up, there are already consequences to the actions you’ve already taken and you must face or live with them.
Fate must step in where you don’t have the foresight which ensures order in the universe.
When fate is playing out, there is no element of choice. The child isn’t given a choice if he wants to fall down the cliff or be picked. He is picked up before he falls. When you aren’t doing the work your soul needs to do to evolve, you aren’t given a choice if you want to wake up or not. The universe just shakes you awake.
But when you choose to step up and take responsibility for your life, then you are shaping your own destiny and directing your own life’s story instead of leaving it to fate. When you step up, you can make sure your story is the greatest story ever told; one you will be proud of as it is read out loud on the other side of the veil.
III. Universal Laws Exist Everywhere
Although not fully, we have the most control over our lives. Nothing can be imposed on us if we do not want it. It even takes you agreeing for a spirit to be able to intervene or intercede for you.
Spirit guides, like the Holy Spirit, will not help unless you ask for help. They will not come into your space uninvited. Spirit cannot intervene in anything you do if you haven’t asked them to. If you ever need help from a higher power, you must ask to receive the help or they will not be able to intervene, no matter how much they want to help.
Universal laws exist everywhere.
Free will exists on the earth and also in the spirit realms, and all beings must respect it, even God.
Good spirits understand and respect universal laws, but certain spirits don’t always respect the laws. Your free will gives you the power and ability to rebuke and banish any being that encroaches on your space.
All entities must comply with universal laws, or there are consequences.
IV. The Consequences of Our Actions
There are laws, rules, and commands to govern the whole universe and if these rules are broken, there are bound to be consequences in this life or the next.
The rules say, “Do not murder, do not steal, do not lie. etc” But we have free will, so if a person chooses to murder, steal, or lie, there’s nothing God or anyone can do to stop it.
It’s the law.
God is a part of the whole and has given people the free will to choose how they want to live their lives. God doesn’t make people do anything. People do things out of their own free will.
Free will is the exact reason why there is so much evil going on and God does nothing to stop it. He won’t intervene in the actions of man. Anger at God for the evil actions of man will always be misplaced anger. Truly understanding this help you understand why God allows certain things to happen.
All beings must obey universal laws, especially free will, but this doesn’t mean people get away with murder.
When you sow oranges, you reap oranges. What goes around comes back around. There will always be consequences, even if the action taken is unseen. Nothing is hidden from the eye of the universe.
God allows people to do whatever they want, but this doesn’t mean that God does nothing to help those who ask for protection from those who abuse their free will.
There may be a murderer on the streets and because God has foresight, he may nudge you to go home early and stay in. If you listen, you are safe. If you disobey and go out, you go out there and meet your fate. This is why you must listen. God doesn’t stop murderers because they too have free will but he guides his people to safety and murderers will suffer the consequences of their actions in this life or the afterlife.
The consequence will be their fate.
Free will and fate co-exist for there to be law and order in the universe. There can’t be one without the other.
You have free will, but you must be mindful of every action you take. To every action, there’s an equal and opposite reaction. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. Just because you can go somewhere doesn’t mean you should.
Broad is the road that leads to destruction.
Go down the narrow path and enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life.
