Writing one Medium story a day this month

My September writing challenge

I don’t do challenges that often but, I figure now is a good time to get behind one. I’m recovering from the summer slump and my lowest-earning month on Medium in almost a year.

I need something to help me bounce back and nothing is better than a good ol’ challenge.

What is the challenge and how you can join me?

This is super simple.

One story a day in the month of September.

There are 30 days in September so that’s 30 Medium stories. Ideally publishing one story every day would be optimal but, if you can’t manage this, taking two days off then publishing four stories, then a day off, and publishing one story or however schedule you have, works well too.

As long as you end up with 30 stories by the end of the month, you’re good.

I’m already way behind but, we’re only a week into September. I think I can recover.

How can you join me?

In the comments, write “I’m in” if you want to join in. I’ll make a few updates here on Medium throughout the month and then do a final check-in on September 30-October 1st or so.

What I hope to gain from this challenge?

I want to increase my views and income from Medium.

If I can do double what my traffic/income was last month, I’d be happy but, to be honest, any increase in stats and income from August would be great.

Anyway, that’s what I got!
