And while you are at it, read this excellent post by him where he writes that people who don’t like to talk tend to be smarter. (I talk a lot…what does that mean, I wonder?🤨)

Mmm. As summer arrives in India, bringing with it the deliciousness of the season and mangoes in particular, we are looking forward to all kinds of yummy delicacies to get the best of the fruit. There will be mango mousse, of course, mango juice, mango cakes, mango jams, savory mango dishes, and of course, the lovely, lovely pickles.
For my part, I will be making sweets, pickles and other savory mango dishes to make the most of this king of fruits which I’ll be sharing in forthcoming roundups.
Now let’s move forward to this week’s reading list on Medium. They are all wonderful writers and I urge you to read them.
First up, is this lovely post by L Burton who writes amazing photo stories. In this post, she talks about unplugging to plug in and how it only takes a fifteen-minute walk to feel refreshed.
Josh Balerite Acol is one of the most wonderful souls I know. She exudes positivity and good cheer. I loved this post from her where she shares inspiring quotes penned by her. So much wisdom packed into this absolutely delightful post.
John Cooper, in his post, discusses whether dating your friend is worth it and whether it could ruin the friendship. He delves deep into the pros and cons of this important question.
We all know it is important to master the power to say “no” and yet we need constant reminders. Elizabeth Loberg has a great post where she talks about how it was the hardest thing she had to learn in her professional life. She emphasizes the need to fully understand your values and what’s worth your time and energy.
William J Spirdione ushers in Spring with his beautiful sonnet. William’s sonnets are a treat to read and I strongly suggest you visit his profile and delight in his poetry. Every piece is a gem.
One of my favorite humor writers is Judy Millar and I always look forward to her posts with happy anticipation. Here’s her latest that will make you chuckle.
Jason Edmunds has adopted a teddy bear and has started to write a whole series of stories about him. In this post, he shares the wisdom gained from a trip to a castle garden. So sweet!
I implicitly believe in supporting the welfare homes in my community and I found David Acaster’s post heartwarming. If only every community did this, the world would be a much better place to live in!
Michael Burg, MD (AKA Medium Michael Burg) shares a hilarious account of how he tweeted Michelle Obama and her response. Such a fun read!
I am excited to share Betsy Denson’s post where she talks about the not-so-simple act of brushing hair — truly a treat to read. Who knew that there could be so much to having hair brushed?
Penny Grubb writes fantastic stories and I love every single one of them. In this, she shares the funny story of her pet’s shenanigans. I am sure you’ll love it too!
Saying goodbye to a loved one is not easy. If only they lived forever! Leonard Tillerman shares a wonderful account of his relationship with his grandfather and the pain of letting go. Tissue alert!
