In recent weeks, I finally dug out a challenge I’d launched a while back and actually followed through with action! I throw out poetry prompt challenges daily (with weekly compilations) and it was time I received your challenges and responded to them!

I’ve been taking everyone’s wild, fun, odd and amazing prompts that range from emoji-strings, words, whole stories, etc and turning them into poems!

It’s just one of the ways I’ve been experimenting with new ways to engage with different readers and writers. To me, novelty is everything.

This brought me to this week’s shortform question:

What are your tips for engaging readers? How do you give back?
