All things limitations.

Hello sunrise Hello blue skies Hello sunshine I don’t want to wait, what a perfect day to go outside…

Does anyone recognize the lyrics? I listened to Dena Deadly’s song and it filled me up with energy and enthusiasm. Perfect timing, as there’s sunshine outside melting the little bit of snow left.

I have a lot of time on my hands lately which means plenty of opportunities to reflect. To peel more layers. To discover more. I’ve been pondering on my limitations lately and how they affect my thinking/behavior. I don’t censor myself as much as I used to, but there still are certain limitations I’ve imposed on myself that don’t allow me to fully immerse myself into an experience.

Of course, I am curious how you might relate to this. Are there any self imposed limitations/restrictions that hold you back from achieving your potential in a work situation/relationship/friendship/anything? How? And most importantly, how are you actively working on freeing yourself of them?

Play with this topic as much as you’d like. Let it blend in with your creativity and personal experiences.

Last week’s poetry challenge was very well received so why not continue along the same lines and transcend ourselves even more?

This time, your challenge will be to write a poem following a new theme: “embrace the feminine”. Not telling you any more! Fool around with it until you’re satisfied with the outcome and submit. If it feels right, then it is right.

Namas’cray, dearest readers and contributors!
