Poetry and a Beautiful Sunset
Inspired by this week’s Prompts: Water+ Poetry
This is a poem I have written some weeks ago, while we still could enjoy some freedom and sit by the seaside, enjoying a gorgeous landscape.
I guess you can say it’s a poem written in relative freedom, celebrating two things that I love most in life: Freedom and the Sea.
I both relate them to WATER, as for me, water is a dream of freedom, purity, splendid colors, and mysterious adventures.
Water is everything. Water is where life first appeared.
We are born from water, in water, inside our mothers.
Enjoy!
Only you give me dreams of Freedom
Lady — Sea:
Far away dreams, quiet and pure,
Like a trembling fog raising from the water
Only you give me pure dreams of a forgotten, legendary glory.
Hiding and not being forced to hide my soul today at sunset
Feeling so free, suddenly,
Between the nervous trembling of your waves…
Only with you, Lady-Sea, things are
Far away and very close, at the same time,
Only you give me the simple joy of the Sun,
Your Thunder is noisy but it doesn’t hurt,
Even if it will rain for a thousand years.
And Him,
For a few minutes in a lifetime,
He gave me Pure Genuine Love.
He looked at me as he was loving me.
He looked at me as he was loving me truly.
And She,
She lives alone, in that dark little room
With no heat and no sunlight
She has no more dreams
No more ideals, no hope, no life,
While me, I don’t know how to divide myself
Between my need of life, and the terrible thought of Her.
(dedicated to my Mother)
