The Upcoming PvPvE Shooter, Hawked, Will Have An Open Beta Next Month

This new shooter is a Fortnite-like battle royale with PvE elements.

So, in some of my earlier stories, I’ve talked about this game called Hawked and other battle royales. You can find the links to those stories at the end of this post.

But right now, let’s dive into the exciting stuff! I’m gonna chat about Hawked again, and guess what? They’ve got an upcoming free open beta! How awesome is that? Let’s check it out!

What is Hawked?

Hawked is a mix of PvP and PvE, all in one package — think battle royale with some cool twists. It’ll be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. So, no matter what platform you’re on, you can get in on the action.

The gameplay is all about the hunt for these special treasures called “Artifacts.” You can either team up with friends or go solo, exploring an island filled with these treasures. But watch out, there are some fierce monsters called “Disciples” guarding these Artifacts. And guess what? Other players want them too! So, it’s a real battle out there.

Once you collect these Artifacts, you earn points. If you manage to extract them successfully by the end of a match, you score big time. Plus, these Artifacts come in handy in future matches too.

Oh, and here’s a cool twist — not only can you get Artifacts from monsters, but you can also snatch them from defeated players. There are also these “Glyphs” you can find, which give you access to even more Artifacts in special “Vaults.”

And the fun doesn’t stop there. The treasure you acquire can be used to upgrade your gear and abilities. Plus, you get to customize your weapon load-outs and play with exciting stuff like a Katana and grappling hooks. Talk about being fully armed!

But wait, it’s not just about running around on foot. You’ve got options for getting around the map. How about surfing on hovering surfboards? Yes, you read that right! And if that’s not cool enough, you can zoom through the air on ziplines too. So much fun!

An open beta next month?

Hawked is about to kick off its free Open Beta on PC. Yeah, you heard that right — it’s free to play, baby!

Mark your calendars, ’cause the fun starts on August 3rd and runs until August 17th. Developed and published by MY.GAMES, HAWKED is all about a heart-pounding adventure on a mysterious island. Get ready to battle fierce monsters, crack mind-boggling puzzles, outsmart rival players, and, of course, snatch up those ancient treasures!

The developers are still working hard on HAWKED, and that’s where the Open Beta comes in. They’re itching to get your feedback on the game, and they want to know what you think. This is your chance to be part of shaping the game and making it even more awesome before the official release.

Now, I know some of you console gamers might be feeling a bit left out, but fear not! HAWKED will be hitting consoles in the near future. So, stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled for updates on that front.
