The Snail in a FEW WORDS.
The snail is interesting.

A specie that carries their home with them, and physical security follows them wherever they go.
While they resemble a tortoise or a turtle, the snail also resembles an ostrich.
The ostrich ducks its head into the sand when they see danger.
The snail does the same, hiding itself into its fragile home when confronted by apparent danger.
I marveled as I watched one snail crawling into the grass patch this morning.
Then I had a random thought experiment.
What if I remove the shell of the snail so that the snail can crawl faster in the face of danger?
I realised one thing.
The snail will die.
We cannot force things in that way, a way that is presumptuous and one that goes against Mother Nature.
Let’s think about getting our students to study hard for subjects that doesn’t speak to their heart and souls.
They surrender their will to the adults, bring home a string of As and never get to experience the joy of working relentlessly to achieve their dreams and goals.
Because they worked hard to achieve our dreams and goals not for themselves.
For our good intentions.
We crush their spirits unknowingly.
Not just our young.
As mentors, it is in our duty to push our adult mentees to get the best possible results that they could ever imagine.
There is just one caveat.
They must want, to want it.
Otherwise, we will have to knock them out using a baseball bat and drag them across the finish line.
Some deals cannot be forcefully expedited as well.
It might evaporate if the counterparty take offence.
As much as I really would like to push forward in life, we have to recognise reality.
We have to take a deep breath sometimes.
