In some of my earlier posts, I’ve chatted about cool smartphones, and I’ll toss the links to those at the bottom of this one. But right now, I wanna spill the beans on some juicy leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus!

Get ready for an exciting surprise from Samsung because they’re gearing up to drop their brand-new flagship phones a tad earlier than their usual release schedule.

Rumor has it that in January of next year, Samsung will be unveiling the highly-anticipated Galaxy S24 series, and this could be the perfect post-holiday treat for tech enthusiasts.

What’s got everyone buzzing about these phones is their design. Word on the street is that Samsung is taking a page from Apple’s playbook and going for that sleek flat-edge design, something we haven’t seen from them in quite some time. Leaks have been pouring in, especially regarding the entry-level Galaxy S24.

Let’s dive into the juicy details. The Galaxy S24+ is aiming to be among the top Android phones of 2024, boasting a 6.7-inch display that features a tiny hole-punch camera at the top. The renders, created using alleged CAD specifications, paint a picture of a device that bears a striking resemblance to an iPhone.

Why, you ask? Well, it’s said that the outer frame is going to be made of aluminum, and the UWB antenna has been shifted to the side panel. Even the button placements look eerily familiar.

Turning our attention to the rear, you’ll notice a triple-camera setup with raised lenses, giving it a unique visual identity rather than being flush with the back casing.

Now, what’s under the hood? The rumor mill suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S24+ will be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2100 processor, depending on your region.

The display is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate, which, while impressive, falls just shy of the rumored 144Hz refresh rate for the S24 Ultra.

As for the release date, Ice Universe, a prominent leaker, recently dropped the bomb that he believes the S24 family will hit the shelves on January 18, 2024. That’s a few weeks earlier than the S23 launch last year and well ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

It seems like Samsung has bid adieu to its days of headlining Europe’s biggest mobile device convention with Unpacked events. At least, that’s how it appears for now.

Final Words

So, there you have it, folks! Get ready to mark your calendars because January 18, 2024, could be the day you finally get your hands on the latest and greatest from Samsung.

And if these leaks are any indication, it’s going to be an exciting start to the year for tech enthusiasts worldwide.
