You walk slowly towards the nearby cottage, the young girl alongside you. She explains more as you go:

“I’m Angelika. I lived with my dad ever since my mom died. We ain’t got much, but we get by. Dad does odd jobs for wizards and adventurers, and he sometimes earns money gathering magical ingredients.”

“I see. Enough for a few silvers?”

Angelika nods. “But on a recent trip to the mountains, he was captured by a terrible demon. His adventuring partner somehow survived this attack, and brought word back to town.”

“Sounds like we should speak to this partner…” you say.
