This is a continuation of You Are Alive, a Choose Your Own Adventure Story (drabble edition) started by Bradan Writes Stories.

Separating fish? That’s not what you had in mind!

You feel a little outraged that someone would mistake you — a mighty adventurer — for a common harbor hand.

“I was meaning a quest, fool!” you splutter. “I’m not doing your goddamn fish work. Ask again, and you’ll find yourself floating in the harbor with an arrow in your back.”

Just then, a small girl tugs at your sleeve. “Can you help find my father?”

Your anger dissipates, and you step away from the fisherfolk. “You father, kid..? What happened to him?”

“He’s been trapped by the demon Impachik.”

“A demon?! Wow…”

You decide to:

  1. Agree to help the girl (click here).
  2. Refuse, and go for a drink instead (click here).
