DRABBLE STORY ARC #4: BOUNDLESS LUCK
A Stroll by the Harbor
A chapter of a ‘choose your own’ story — drabble edition!

This is a continuation of You Are Alive, a Choose Your Own Adventure Story — drabble edition started by Bradan Writes Stories. Find out how to contribute here or return to the previous chapter: You Are Alive or A Dawning Realization.

You decided to walk down to the harbor.
You pass through low-ceiling, narrow-arched passages. They are made of wet stone and barely fit two people crossing at the same time.
As you get closer to the harbor, the distinct smell of the sea and fresh fish cause your nostrils to grow for a brief moment, and the sudden change in humidity reaches your bones. Many fishermen sit on small bridges that start from the land and reach deep into the sea.
“Is there anything I can help with?” you ask one of them.
“Wanna help, outsider? Give me a hand in separating all that fish here.”
What will you do next?
