ABOUT ME
Teresa’s ABCs
Writing challenge accepted!

You may find a few differences due to my native Spanish language. Bear with me!
Awe. Find every day that tiny reason to stay in awe of Life… and keep a logbook to look back when you feel down.
Bold and cowardly. I can certainly be both, big times.
It depends on the situation, how safe I feel, the planet transits, the weather… Who knows!
Contradictions perfectly coexist in me.
I see them as a life-long learning process of listening to the many different “Teresas” that all want to be expressed from this one body.
Don’t you feel the same?
Dot dot dot […] That space between words is where the magic happens.
I am driving Grammarly nuts with my overuse of these “pause and reflect” punctuation marks...
Entanglement: my favorite word of all time.
How strikingly beautiful that sounds!
Finding a non-gut-wrenching equilibrium between my irremediable introversion and social media exposure…
This text is a perfect example of it.
Gut health: By far, my weakest point and my best emotional barometer.
Hands: my natural ‘mouth extensions’ to express myself.
Recently, someone asked me: What would you do if you could not use them to talk? I silently raised my hands, shrugging. 🤷
I f only… at least, once in my lifetime.
Judgment. “Do not judge my story by the chapter you walked in on.”
Kneading bread: a five-sense enhancing activity that helps me stay grounded and present…
A way to honor my grandfather, an artisan baker.
Learning to accept my mediocrity and be at peace with it.
“It is enough, Teresa.”
Music, images, and words: I spend the whole day matching them …
I speak music, I hear pictures, and I see words…

Nature.
Sitting in silence with Nature helps me to gain perspective and recalibrate my priorities. She’s got my back.
Obsession or Passion? A very thin line that oftentimes gets blurry.
“The difference between passion and obsession is that between a divine spark and a flame that incinerates.” Dr. Gabor Mate.
Psychoneuroendocrinoimmunology- Say it out loud 😉
A subfield of psychosomatic medicine I’ve been intensely studying over the last years, and that is helping me “connect the dots.”
Quirón [Chiron]: The wounded healer.
This Greek myth helped me find meaning to, and reconcile with, some aspects of my personal story.

Raising my right brow? Heads up! You bet something is not making sense…
Stubborn? Well, you may hear that about me…
I prefer to call it persistent, like a jackhammer, when something catches my attention.
Tears… They come to my eyes far too fast and too easily. You can call me an emotional sponge, yes.
My theory? Too much water in my birth chart.

Ulises. A German Brac who confirmed for 14 years that the ‘love of your life’ may also take the form of a four-leg creature.
Vulnerability.
My life is an ongoing back and forth between exposure and vulnerability.
A dynamic equation whose equilibrium I have not found yet. I keep searching.
“Would it save you a lot of time if I just gave up and went mad now?” The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
X. The unknown variable that deciphers the Universe’s equation of Life and Love.
“You certainly don’t have a poker face, Teresa” …
I wish I had, but I am an emotional open book, even when I keep my mouth shut.
Zapateado de Sarasate 🎵: A Classical Spanish masterpiece that invites you to shake off your worries. You cannot miss this!
Shall we dance? 😉
Dawn :) , Here it is! you stretched my comfort zone once again! 😊
Melissa Marietta, Mercedes O'Leary, Sarah J Clarke, Scott Ahlsmith, Do you feel for it? Up for an ABC of Me challenge? 😉
