A Kid Snuck Up on Stage During the Recent Game Awards.
He confused the audience of the Elden Ring devs during their speech.
I think some people like to show off and impress others for unknown reasons. This story reflects a young character who confuses people in special events. It is a daily highlight in the gaming communities.
During the recent Game Awards, Elden Ring was awarded Game of the Year. The developers were invited to the stage to accept the award and to give a speech.
Do you know who wasn't invited, though?
A random kid who managed to sneak up on stage without the developers or even the security notice since they were clearly enjoying the moment.
This kid was dressed fairly well, which is why many people didn't notice him at first. But after the developers were done with their speech, this kid stole the mic and said the most random thing.
“Real quick I want to thank everybody and say that I think I want to nominate this award to my Reformed Orthodox rabbi Bill Clinton. Thank you everybody.”
The audience was clearly taken aback by his statement since no one really knew what it meant. I don’t think it was meant to mean anything but just intended to confuse the audience.
Most of the audience remained quiet as they were confused, but there were a few claps, I’m assuming from people who didn't know what was going on but didn't want to be rude.
After he was done with his speech, the kid was escorted off stage, detained by security, and escorted to a police station by LAPD officers. Apparently, he was not arrested, but a report was taken.
Additionally, this stunt seems to be premeditated, according to a Discord chat log that was shared by Twitter user @GoodinDaegon.
If you look closely, you’ll notice one of the users knew what the kid was going to say before he actually did. He must have told his friends about it before he did it.
This kid’s identity was found a few hours after the event by randoms online. His name is Matan, and he is apparently known from his appearance at an NBA game a few years ago, waving a “free Hong Kong” shirt.
Unlike his previous appearance, this stage crash didn't seem to have any political motivation. I believe it was just meant to be a silly prank that doesn't mean anything.
