Reaching Out With Love
Thank You Notes #29

“Bless souls while they can be reached.” ― Kingsley ofosu-Ampong
Dear Lovely Readers and Writers,
It had been a long time since I had heard from many of my family members. Day after day, I lamented the fact I had little connection with them.
Then, it occurred to me. I am the one.
I am the one who needs to reach out with my heart and my words. It was a beautiful experience to send out messages this week.
Often, we sit in our feelings of sorrow too long when all we need to do is reach out.
I had a delightful exchange of messages with cousins and a loving phone call with my aunt. If I had not reached out, I would still feel lonely.
Now my heart is joyful, and I know more is to come. Sometimes we are afraid to reach out, not knowing what others will think.
Yet, when we are the ones to start the conversation, we have the power to change our dynamic.
Let us give a warm welcome to our new writer this week:
We are celebrating 271 followers this week!
Great work, everyone! Let us keep reaching for the stars!
The theme for this week is: Reaching Out.
Write an article, essay, or poem about a time where you reached out to a friend, a co-worker, a stranger, a family member, and what happened. How did your heart change?
A loving note from your editor Trista Signe Ainsworth:
This week I am embarking on many new adventures! Today I start my new content writing contract, and it is the first day of NaNoWriMo.
I will continue my manuscript for my book: Letters From Your Inner Being.
Here at Thank You Notes and Medium, I began a new routine this morning. For an hour, early in the morning, I will edit and publish work, write, read and answer comments.
I call it my magic hour.
I look to publish your stories as quickly as I can. I will also check back in the late afternoon and evening with all of you.
Best of luck to everyone writing their books for NaNoWriMo this month including our lovely writers here at Thank You Notes:
Ellie Jacobson, Penelope Mayfield, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, Pierce McIntyre, and L Burton.
Sending lots of support to all of you!
Trista
