Prosy’s Paradox
When words unlock the cosmos
Word of the Day: Prosy!
Alfie chuckled, tossing his novel aside. “Books, always so prosy.”
“Ah, but that’s where you’re mistaken,” grinned Elara, her eyes alight. “Each word, a universe.”
“Nonsense,” he scoffed.
“Believe,” she whispered, tapping the book. Suddenly, stars swirled around them, galaxies in ink.
Alfie’s mouth opened. “How?”
“Imagination, dear Alfie. It’s the key.”
“But, it’s just words,” he protested, awe softening his voice.
“Words are portals,” Elara replied, her fingers dancing across the pages, weaving constellations.
They stood surrounded by the cosmos. Alfie’s scepticism melted into the wonder of the universe.
Perhaps, he mused, there’s magic in being prosy after all.
