WEEK 14 CHECK-IN:

Trans Life Past: I only have one move this week so that’s nice. This will be the first year I haven’t been worn the cishet mask of expectation.

  • As expected, it was a pretty tame New Year’s night
  • I’ve had the T-Flu most of this week, at least, I’m 99.9% certain that’s what it is — the symptoms align with symptoms the sites specifically say are NOT signs of COVID, but, still making sure.

Goal: Uni’s back and so begins the year of editing. My goals this week are to EDIT and to pre-emptiviely draft out my major assignments for uni.

  • Umm, I did some editing. Like 784 words, but it’s a start.
  • I didn’t get my assignments drafts outlined but got my results back for my first submitted assignments. As is the hilarious way with uni, I put in the same amount of effort and got 92% for one and 58% for the other (two different subjects). Assignments have less to do with intelligence and much more to do with giving the marker what they want. I’m just more interested in gettting out what I need and want rather than ticking boxes. Shrug.

Gratitude:

  • I’m super grateful to Scotty for letting me come back and stay at the house rather than having to waste thousands on a hotel
  • I’m grateful to all the amazing peeps I’ve met through TikTok and on here — Your support and unconditional friendships drown out the asshats that occasionally drop by, haha. You know what I’m talking about :)

Physical Changes:

  • Not much new that I’ve noticed, just hair. Always hair.

Other notes:

  • Oh, I got my first pride flags! Trans and non-binary. All the pride!

And on to WEEK 14:

Trans Life Ahead: I’m looking forward to another week in isolation. I’m hoping maybe, I’ll somehow get my hands on a Rapid Antigen Test or the one I ordered on Wednesday that still hasn’t been sent, might acutally turn up, but I’m not holding my breath.

Goals: 1. To edit… a bunch. Lol — how specific of me. 2. Write my first draft of my research proposal for uni 3. Get a freakin’ RAT (and a negative result)!

Dose: 2 Pumps/day (25mg)
