Trans Journey Day 92: Edging on 3 months, I look back at 2021 and wonder, how the hell did I start the year thinking I was cishet? And now, I think it’s finally happened — I smell different!
I’ve ALWAYS hated perfumes, florals, girly scents. Whenever someone gifted me perfume (because, that’s the go-to when you don’t know what to buy, apparently), I gave it to the sister.
This morning, after walking 3km in 35°C heat (95°F), partly with a backpack of groceries, I was sweaty and should have been stinky. But I didn’t stink. I smelled, like sexy sweaty man!
Many femme-attracted trans men warn that on T, you’ll smell bad… But I like it! My queer-trans ass never liked ‘feminine’ scent, but I certainly like my masc one.
