New Writers Who Share Their Frailty
The 3 X 3
Every day I wake up with hope- hope that today will bring new opportunities, new insights and new chances to develop myself. I pray that I make a difference in the lives of those I touch and that, in turn, they too are better off by consuming my content, taking my courses or interacting with me than they were yesterday.
One day at a time, one experience at a time, growing. Life is not easy, but it has the potential to be an adventure every day. This week’s writers share their adventures, not just through the stories featured here, but in their entire libraries.
Divyata Dewan focuses on these concepts in her writing, too. She writes thoughtful stories and poems that challenge us readers to think more deeply about life and the experiences we manifest. Her poem Reality or Illusion provides a fresh perspective on thinking beyond the words to a deeper inner dialogue we should often engage in with ourselves.
In her story Remember Your Why? She shares a childhood memory and a reflection on the idea that we are the same people we were so many years ago, just older versions.
In We Are A Community she creates an anthem to writers using the letter C. It’s a fun and inspiring piece.
Rex Shadeseagle is an author, podcast host, public speaker, and drug prevention specialist who has seen the full spectrum of life in his years on the planet. Here he reminds us to be the architects of our own lives.
And in this article, Rex shows us a couple of ways to do that.
This article recounts some of the ways to handle the insecurities and difficulties that he experienced in overcoming addiction. And these insecurities happen to all of us as we meet new challenges and make big changes.
Our final writer for this week is Jordin James. Jordin is an expert in understanding trauma and the pain of surviving narcissistic relationships. Piggybacking on Rex’s article, this one explains why it is ok to be happy, releasing the insecurities from time to time.
And once you have decided to be happy, the next step is Give Love to the Parts of You That Seek Approval. This was the first story I read from Jordin, and it had me shouting “Heck yeah!” by the time I got to the end.
All of us have experienced failure. It is not as bad as some say. In fact, it usually provides valuable lessons that help us move forward. Here Jordin tells us about how she overcame one such experience.
Whether you have failures that provide you deeper understanding or success that is a culmination of the hard work you continue to do, I hope you have a terrific week. Thank you for spending a few minutes with me and these poignant writers.
