My Story Got Rejected After 4 Months and I Don’t Know Why
Facing rejection after so much time without any reason
Many writers submit thousands of stories every day to different publications. Some get accepted, while some face a painful rejection. I have always faced rejection from publications like The Startup, Entrepreneur’s Handbook, Better Marketing, etc.
Rejection is not that bad, but if you get rejected all the time, it demotivates you so much.
I always tried my best to avoid rejections and stay motivated. I have also written a story about how to avoid rejections from publications. You can read it if you want.
As I explained previously, I have repeatedly faced rejections by different publications. But after applying these methods, I didn’t get any rejections for four months. But yesterday, one of my stories got rejected by Data Driven Investor. But the strange thing is that I don’t know why.
Data-Driven Investor has always accepted all of my stories. They never reject my stories, but I don’t know why they rejected that one. It was a simple story without any infringement or mistakes.
But it’s OK because they will have valid reasons for rejecting. I am sad because I had a streak of four months without rejection, and they broke it without any reason.
But it’s OK, I will try to make another streak.
