How Much Money Have I Made With Only 3 Stories
Medium will reward you for your past work even if you don't write that much
If anyone asks you about the easiest way to earn money, and you know about Medium, without any hesitation, your answer would be Medium. Many people have started writing on Medium because they want to earn money to be financially independent and support their families.
I am a lazy person who always breaks my consistency and can’t do anything for more than a month. But I am writing on Medium for the past 4 months consistently without thinking about leaving because Medium is the only platform that satisfied me in making easy money.
I didn’t expect to make thousands of dollars in my first month, but I want quick results. I earned $2.12 in my first month on Medium. It’s not that much, but it made me believe that I will earn money from Medium in the future.
But I had an advantage that you may not have. I started writing on Medium before they updated their monetization policies. Now, you need at least 100 followers and a single story published to earn money.
Medium is almost a passive income side hustle where you earn money from your content after years. I made $34.71 in November. But most of the earning were from stories that I wrote in September and August. I was very happy to earn that much because I didn’t write much in November.
And now, in December, I have made $17.64. December is not over yet, but it’s the earnings I have made so far. But can you guess how many stories I would have written?
So far in December, I have only written three stories. I am happy with my earnings after knowing that I have only published three stories. But I am sad because I want to grow every month. I wanted to cross the earnings of November, but I don’t see this happening.
I would have passed my November earning, but many of my stories haven’t made a single cent in December. Only a few stories combined and made the $17.64.
Earning more from less work is always pleasing. But it’s also so good to earn much more from more work. You should always try to cross your previous month’s earnings and always think about growing as an entrepreneur.
