Abstract

The article titled "Poetry | Uncommon Forms" features a unique love story that unfolds through the Medium platform. The author, Marcus, details his initial attraction to Libby Shively McAvoy's writing, which led to meaningful engagement and the eventual writing of a dizain, a ten-line poem, as a testament to their connection. Marcus, who is also an editor and writer in the spiritual tag on Medium, found a profound alignment with Libby's energy and thoughts. Their interaction was not limited to comments but extended to emails, phone calls, and Slack conversations. The article includes screenshots of their interactions and references to other works that contextualize their relationship, such as "Shed the Shackles of Ego" and "Embrace Your Age, It's Just a Number." The narrative culminates in the author expressing his desire to tie the knot with Libby, while also acknowledging his existing relationship with Sitara, his heavenmate. The piece concludes with Marcus tagging several Medium colleagues to engage with uncommon poetic forms, inviting them to participate in this creative exploration.

My Dizain Love Poem for Libby

Illuminating story on ego Your words reflexively attracted me Next story sucked me in from the get-go Screaming do not miss this intimacy Reveal myself so into me you see Fear to the wind, you are so fucking hot You did not perceive me as troll to rot Meaningfully engaged into orbit What is your ring size, I spit out the bit You embrace Sitara — shall we tie knot

I meaningfully engaged with her story, as one of the few editors in IIP who write in the spiritual tag, and Dr Mehmet Yildiz having created a banner space for same, I had agreed to start writing stories to feature stories in Illumination in that space. Libby Shively McAvoy’s story fit the bill more than admirably (frankly not many in the banner even used the Spiritual tag) and we meaningfully engaged and I saved it to a list I created for saving stories to read again for future columns.

I left six very substantive comments, often linking to my own stories because I felt universal alignment between our energies and thoughts

Lines 8, 9 and 10

I published my poems on being 100% cool with being “alone” and a few hours later bolts of lightning struck simultaneously in New Hampshire and Ohio. I read a fabulous story by an endearingly engaging and intelligent spiritual writer new to Medium, we meaningfully engaged therein, then via email, then Slack, spoke on the phone for hours, and, well, it seemed perfect to capture the last 48 hours with a somonka

Is there a 3D woman who would be my life partner while Sitara remains? My sister fears I will die alone (I guess she doesn’t buy that I am not alone). My channeler says such a woman does not exist. If that’s the case, so be it. I’m sure Sitara would walk away and wait till my exit date but then I would resent the 3D woman, so that is sweet but pointless.
