The quest for happiness seems to be what everyone ultimately wants to achieve. But the question I would like to pose is are you living in the confines of your ego? The ego allows us to self-justify. The ego will keep you trapped, imprisoned, in a place of fear, worry, doubt, feelings of having to do-better, and keeping you stuck in wanting more mode. The ego has its place when kept in balance. It keeps us safe while in an un-awakened state. In essence it is the state of lower vibration where according to Psychology Today, Elliott Aronson argues, “that this motivational force of ‘self-justification’ plays a central role in our lives.” The ego is the loud voice, because of low self-esteem, that calls to defend and justify our place in the world. Where, by contrast, our soul is the quiet whisper that we simply trust when we are in high vibration and alignment.

As you move toward spiritual ascension, enlightenment and into a soul centered space, you have less need for the ego. You then start to realize you are limitless. You leave the materialistic lower vibrational state and enter a higher more elevated state of being. When you have the courage to visualize the life you desire in great detail, and realize your limitless potential, you have the power to accomplish all of your dreams. You will achieve not only the joy you were searching for but everlasting fulfillment. You transition from an ordinary 3-D world into an extraordinary 4-D or even 5-D world where suddenly all things are possible.
In a soul centered space, you no longer need external validation. You no longer compare yourself to others. You are confident with your own ideas and concepts. You are ok with the idea of failing because you know that you will learn from those mistakes and grow stronger from them. You no longer need approval because you trust yourself. Your soul is the source of creativity, love, harmony, joy, connection, and understanding. You create your own reality. You forget about the external world. You do not take no for an answer. Life feels abundant and people are drawn to you. Your energy becomes magnetic.
Life is fluid and constantly changing. You will meet challenges along the way. When you are feeling discomfort, you have the power to choose if you want to stay in a place of ego and suffer, or if you want to elevate yourself to a soulful place where you decide to get out of your own ego centered head and focus on something bigger than yourself. All suffering is ego based. Remember, the soul is love based and is the cause and source of healing. Decide. Make a choice. Choose to do something for your children, your community, your church, your neighbor, and by doing this you will feel better, and you will come out of that state of suffering and sadness and come into a state of joy. Whatever we focus our attention on will grow, so choose to focus on something good.
You are pure potential. You simply have to tap into that limitless power of your higher consciousness. Rise into your soul mission. Find your purpose by following your passion. If you are not doing what you love you will never be happy.
Gary Vaynerchuk said, “Being 35 and delivering pizza and being happy is way better than being 27 as a VP on Wall Street and being unhappy. It’s not F*cking close.”
I think that’s a powerful and true quote. Are you happy with what you are doing in life?
The most successful people in the world
Start with a vision
Do not care what others think
Are limitless in their beliefs
Read and continue to educate themselves
Use their time wisely
Take care of their bodies and minds
Manage their money well
Have a routine and discipline
Take risks and do not fear failure
Do what you love
Everyone suffers setbacks, but you have the choice to stay in that ego-based mind or to level up into that soul-based mind. The come backs are always stronger than the setbacks. Do what you love every day. The majority of our hours are spent working so be sure you are doing what you enjoy, even if it means taking a pay cut. You cannot put a dollar amount on happiness. Money is ego driven which will keep you trapped in that negative unhappy mindset.
If I had listened to my parents and my ex-husband, I would still be trapped in that fear-based mindset of the ego. I would never have pursued my dreams of teaching yoga and ultimately coaching and empowering others to live the life they love. Thankfully, I listened to my intuition, my soul path. I knew I had a higher calling in life. Others wanted to keep me playing small because it kept them in control. I had the courage to persevere because I was finally living in alignment with my authentic self and with my life’s purpose.
I have certainly faced my fair share of setbacks, but each one has taught me a well needed lesson and given me the strength to continue on my journey. I am now living the life I love, and I hope this will inspire you to live the life you love if you are not already. You are worthy of all that you desire. You have your own special gift and story to share with the world. Do the things that feed your soul, not your ego, and you will be happy. Do what you love and are passionate about. Life is too short not to.
Ihad one heck of an awakening that began with surviving domestic violence. You can let life crush you or you can choose to let it expand you. I chose to expand. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and get to know me. My goal is to awaken, inspire, and empower others to live the life they love through awareness, acceptance, and forgiveness. This is how I have healed and built the life of my dreams. No one said it would be easy, but I am living proof that it is definitely worth the effort of personal development.
