    </div><p id="b8d0">I’m quite baffled now that the thought of giving up writing came to mind.</p><p id="bd31">How could I throw away this wonderful passion that has helped me connect with other amazing writers on Medium?</p><p id="d980">Let’s just say I decided to go all out with my preparations for the exam and completely left out writing. I know for certain that my stats would not have been the best ones yet. <a href="https://readmedium.com/halfway-into-february-here-are-my-medium-stats-7054b1a076d2">My earnings would not have grown to $17.08 in just two weeks of writing an article a day</a>.</p><p id="e892">I would not have been pleased with myself knowing this. But what’s funny is I would not have known that I’d be capable of achieving this had I decided not to write at all.</p><p id="9b44">But what I know now is that I am absolutely happy that I did not give up.</p><p id="bb81">This goes for you too.</p><p id="1900">If you’re not finding time to write as much as you would like, then you’re probably not making time for it. Saying is totally different from doing.</p><p id="e54d">Of course, things happen and it may get increasingly difficult to write everyday or every two days but what shows that you really want to do it, is doing it.</p><p id="286c">I’ve learned from this experience to be intentional about churning out an article a day. It may not be the same frequency at which you want to write, but do set a goal and stick to it.</p><p id="5f07">You’ll thank yourself for it in months to come if not days.</p><figure id="3d5b"><im

I almost made this mistake again!

I am so glad I did not.

I already wrote about how I ghosted Medium for about a month and completely regretted it after realizing some important things upon my return to the platform. You can read that story in detail here:

But I just realized I almost made that same mistake again without even knowing. That’s what is freaking me out — the fact that I did not know.

On the 28th of January, I wrote my last story (which was also my second story) for the month. I had an upcoming exam that I could not afford to fail, and my preparations were definitely getting in the way of my writing.

At least, that’s what I thought at the time.

In this story I was contemplating giving up on writing because I was not getting enough time to write anything:
