8 Ways to Improve Yourself Without Even Realizing It

Poetry is a universal language that transcends borders and speaks to people seeking beauty and solace. It can be used for negative and positive purposes: the beauty of poetry is in the eye of the beholder!

The benefits of writing poetry vary depending on the type of person one writes for, such as how it helps victims cope with their trauma. Some poets write for pleasure, but others write because they reach out to humanity through their art form. In this article, I explore the benefits offered by writing poetry while also exploring drawbacks. What types of people may benefit more from composing it than others or who might be dissuaded from writing poetry.

Personal development is the focus of our lives because it determines who we are and what kind of person we will be. It is the key to success in life. It is a process of learning and practicing new skills to help us achieve our goals and dreams. The reality is that we must continuously learn new things or become stagnant, leading to boredom, frustration, and unhappiness. The only way to avoid this stagnation is through continuous self-improvement.

This means learning something new every day so you can grow as a person. There are many ways people can improve their lives by learning a skill or developing a talent they have never used before. For instance, if you want to be more successful at work. You should take up golf because it requires physical and mental strength; both are important for success in any career field. If you want to be more creative, try writing poetry because it helps develop your imagination; this will help make your life more exciting and fun!

There are many other ways people can improve themselves without even realizing it — like taking up yoga or meditation (which I highly recommend). Better health, improved relationships with others…the list goes on!

But the lovers of poetry have their solutions. We write poetry and improve ourselves for 8 essential reasons:

1) Poetry is life, and life is poetry 2) to express our thoughts and feelings 3) to show our appreciation to fellow human beings 4) to appreciate poetry, which is a gift from Creator 5) to fall in love with the beauty of nature 6) to encourage others with hope and courage 7) to know that we are not alone 8) gaining knowledge from the experience of others

As humans, our writing reflects the nature of our subconscious and our dreams. Some write poetry because they can see into another world; this world is the world of dreams. Others are more connected to the earthly world, and their dreams are reflections of reality.

We see people who appear to be so selfish; they hurt others without a second thought. People like this are hurting inside. Maybe they’ve suffered trauma at a young age, and this traumatic experience has defined who they are. Perhaps they’ve never discovered the joy of giving, and they serve themselves exclusively. As a result, these people feel empty, lonely, and sad — this is what I call the “dark side.” Many of us have experienced this dark side of human nature from family members, friends, coworkers, etc. Because of this, many of us have become fearful of these people. However, most people fail to realize that we are all capable of this dark side because our selfish desires result from our biological makeup; they result from a chemical imbalance in the brain. These desires are not a result of our upbringing or socialization; they result from our natural makeup. The difference is that some people have these desires under control and others do not.

The “dark side” is an uncomfortable reality that we must all learn to accept. We can learn to treat these people with respect and intimacy by taking this fact because we realize that they are struggling internally. By interacting as colleagues and as friends, we can help these people find peace within. This will help these people discover a positive outlook on life, positively impacting all of our lives.

We cannot change these people — only they can change themselves. But we can help these people change with poetry. This allows them to discover the true meaning of life.

“Life has its ups, downs, and turns. We must realize that we cannot fix our problems without admitting our shortcomings. You can always help someone by showing them compassion, care, and attention; it’s your responsibility as a human being to do this.” Dariusz Gross #DATAsculptor

how to submit?

We love to use green in our poetry because it can evoke a more emotional reaction with the reader. The color green allows the authors to leave their poem open for interpretation and each person can form their own idea of what it means.

In the publication “The Power of Poetry”, it’s shown that the authors prefer to use green in order to not cause a literal color description. Please illustrate your poetry in green, or we will gladly render a useful illustration for you. By submitting your poetry, you agree to the color of hope.

The Power of Poetry is a place to show the world your creativity, your imagination and passion for writing.
