Highlights: A Deep Dive Into What Do You Prefer 2?

Several months ago, I started to post every now and then a prompt called “ Deep Dive” to create bridges with other fellow writers, open discussions, exchange experiences, and a safe place to safely share writings, minutes, and parts of the heart.
For every theme I choose to write about and ask my fellow writers to write about, I choose some interesting thoughts, quotes, and comments from those who participate, and I add all the links to the articles.
My last prompt was a deep dive called “ Deep Dive Prompt about your Preferences 2
I am so happy that many of my fellow writers dedicate time, effort, and love to join the prompt, share with us part of their hearts, and show us the life in the creativity bubble we sit in to construct a world of letters and words.
In this article, I am posting all the articles with some quotes and highlights. This is also an invitation to read what you might find interesting. Sometimes inspiration hides in the shadow of a phrase or a sentence, and reading is a tool to find the gold scattered between full stops and commas.
All the articles were deep, beautiful, and thought-provoking. There were many beautiful phrases, which made my task of cherrypicking a tricky one
Let us start with the writers who joined the prompt:
I believe in tomorrow
“ Tomorrow because tomorrow is full of hope, and yesterday can only have pride or regret.” Peter Sassi
Novels with wine taste!!!!
“ would have to say classic. In my opinion, novels are like wine. The longer they ferment, the better they are.” Robert Shaneyfelt
I like the version of me I am today
“I definitely like today’s version of me. I am comfortable with my life because I have experienced a great deal of emotional healing.” Pamela Oglesby
I like the younger version of myself
“ In my late twenties, I was starting to become more confident and experienced, but I still had the energy and enthusiasm of youth. For that reason, I would choose that version of myself.” Autistic Widower ("AJ")
I love Poetry
“ I love reading beautiful poetry, I love the rhythm, the cadence, the sentiment, the perfect metaphor. I love it because I can’t write poetry and I harbour a slight jealousy of those who are poets.” Adrienne Beaumont
I read fast
“ Fast reading, because I’ve been reading most of my life and I have been reading fast for years.” Michelle Renee Kidwell
I prefer tomorrow…
“ Tomorrow is where hope lies.” Patricia Timmermans
I prefer tomorrow`s version of me!
“ Tomorrow’s version of me will always be the best version of me because it’s currently a blank slate, an unknown even to myself. The mystery of who I could possibly be is enticing, and the challenge of who I’ll become is exciting. Yes, I’ll take tomorrow’s version every single time.” Colleen Millsteed
Hot chocolate….. an old love
“In the last 4–5 years, I started to cut my sugar intake drastically. The poor Hot chocolate big mugs were the first victims of this decision. Though I miss their sweet presence at my table, decreasing my sugar intake was an achievement like climbing a mountain summit.” Subhi Najar
I am so grateful to all those who joined or read the prompt.
If you are interested in joining such “deep dives,” please add a comment, and I am more than happy to add you.
