Here’s Some Interesting News on Foldable Apple Devices

Apple may finally be joining the foldable device bandwagon.

I have been an Apple user for many years. They gave me mixed feelings.

Apple laptops, tablets, and phones have had a very traditional design for a while now. But finally, some news has surfaced, which could indicate that Apple is working on a foldable iPad and a foldable MacBook with a 20-inch display.

According to The Elec, Apple will get their displays from a South Korean display manufacturer for one of their upcoming MacBooks.

Additionally, according to this report, this MacBook will be 20.25 inches in its unfolded state, while in its folded state, it will be 15.3 inches. This makes it so that it fits nicely between the size of the current largest MacBook Pro and iPad Pro.

This report also states that this display will be OLED. If this is the case, then it’s likely that this device won't be released for at least a couple of years since the current MacBook and iPad is not get OLED, and Apple usually likes to wait until this kind of change has been made first.

The foldable iPad is apparently going to be replacing the iPad Mini since, when folded, it will likely be approximately the same size as an iPad Mini, but when folded out, it will be the same size as a regular iPad.

Apparently, this device is set to release around 2024, which is honestly a lot sooner than I was expecting.

Previously, there have been many rumors of a foldable iPhone after the success of the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. But unfortunately, this report indicated that such a foldable iPhone is very unlikely to be made.

Although a foldable iPhone would be very cool, in my opinion, a foldable iPad and a MacBook with a missive foldable display are a lot more appealing.

I’m looking forward to seeing how these devices turn out to be.
