A Poem

I once wrote an essay while earing my AA.

Total Wellness? The course was a waste so I finished the assignment with great haste.

It’s been a few years and I went back too see turns out it wasn’t the worst thing written by me.

I made some edits and fixed some things mistaken and moved to publish my work in ILLUMINATION.

I must say, I wasn’t expecting much that said, I didn’t make too big a fuss.

Checking my stats after a bit of a stay there appeared to be something else at play.

The details expanded and my mouth wide open it turns out this was chosen for curation!

My first time being distributed with something so basic being contributed.

It encourages me to think harder for stronger work could go even farther.

I was extremely excited to find out that, after writing on Medium for less than a month, I had a piece chosen for further distribution. You can now find my piece in the Lifestyle and Self topics! To quote everyone’s favorite synthezoid, “FLOURISH!”
